Jeremiah has no personal headstone and is instead sharing a  grave with Patrick
Cannon - died July 19th 1872. However records state that Mary Canon is buried here.

Note:
That the Roman Catholic Church gave the burial register into the keeping of the Dunedin City
Corporation on 1 July 1944 and it was at this time that a copy was made by a Mr. A. H Could.
He wrote the following on the front page of the register: [Quote] Records prior to that date
(1944) were very inaccurate - ownership of plots not given in many cases and the same plot
sold twice - signed A.H Gould, 14 September 1944 [end quote]
